Greetings to you in this new year! It is time to announce the availability of the Fr. Rollins Lambert Scholarship for African American students enrolled in our Catholic schools, grades K-8. This year, all applications are submitted online only and can be accessed here: https://asfcatholicschools.
Deadline for application is Friday, March 17, 2023. We rely on you to identify potential applicants for this scholarship, to encourage them to apply, and to assist with their application process.
The African American Catholic Community (AACC) is an organization within the context of a multicultural church of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe that serves, supports, and reinforces the "African American Catholic family and individuals." Through the implementation of the organization's mission, the AACC is committed to the social, intellectual and spiritual growth of African American youth who attend Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. As a result, through gifts and grants provided to the AACC, scholarships are offered to eligible African American students, Catholic or non-Catholic, who attend or will attend Catholic schools in grades K-8 beginning in the fall of the 2023-2024 school year.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet ALL of the eligibility requirements and deadlines to qualify. Scholarship awards may be provided for tuition or some portion of tuition and fees to applicants in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. Individuals applying for a scholarship should submit a complete application online and complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Applications must be completed and submitted online on or before Friday, March 17, 2023. Notification letters will be forwarded to the scholarship recipients and schools by Friday, May 5, 2023.
Scholarship recipients and their families are expected to attend the formal recognition of the award on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the noon AACC Mass at the St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Drive NW. Principals may recognize the award recipient(s) at the school. The award may be published in Archdiocesan media outlets including PMD Express, the Archdiocese of Santa Fe website, Facebook page and Twitter.

Applications accepted from the Caballeros De Vargas Inc. prior to the enrollment year (2023-2024) must be submitted by no later than May 26, 2023 and the application packet must be complete, including application, essays, letter of recommendation and transcripts or a copy of the latest report card.

Application materials cannot be returned.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Santa Maria de la Paz #2394 is happy to announce two scholarship opportunities for students at Santo Nino Regional Catholic School ($1,000 and $750).
Criteria: Grades 3-5 student at Santo Nino; active parishioner at Santa Maria de la Paz, strong GPA, and income-based need.
