Calling all Santo Niño Regional Catholic School Alumni to partner with the school on communication, student recruitment, serving present students, development, recognition, and socials.

Thomas Serrano - New Mexico State Presidential Scholarship

Requirements - 3.75 GPA and 28 ACT or 3.5 GPA and 30 ACT. New Mexico resident. High school diploma from a NM accredited school, a NM GED, or a NM-HiSET. 

Award - Tuition and fees. $3,250 stipend per academic year and the one-year NMSU Housing Award. Awarded using a blind selection process with a maximum of 15 awards offered each year.


Carissa Baca - New Mexico State Conroy Achievement Scholarship

Requirement - Designated a National Merit Semi-finalist or National Achievement Scholar by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation or Designated a National Hispanic Scholar by College Board. 

Award - Tuition and fees. $2,500 stipend per academic year and the one-year NMSU Housing Award.  Did not have to apply for scholarship


Adreana Jasso - Davis New Mexico Scholarship


Davis New Mexico Scholars will receive a full-ride scholarship that will cover the cost of attendance to one of the following institutions:

  • Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, CA)
  • St. Edward’s University (Austin, TX)
  • Southwestern University (Georgetown, TX)
  • University of Denver (Denver, CO)
  • University of Portland (Portland, OR)
  • Lawrence University (Appleton, WI)

Both Thomas and Carissa will graduate from SMHS in May.  


Adreanna will graduate from the MASTERS Program in May and plans on attending University of Denver.


Samantha Martinez – Grand Canyon University, President’s List (aka Dean’s List) she made this her first semester with a GPA of 3.93
