Swimming is an outstanding activity for people of all ages. It promotes fitness and teaches kids to strive for physical achievement. Swimming is an exciting individual and team sport. It is a technical and specialized activity involving extensive skill development and a healthy "lifetime" activity that includes participants 1 to 101 years old. It is relatively injury free in comparison to other youth sports and can prevent drowning. It teaches the life lessons of sport and sportsmanship which include learning to deal with winning and losing, as well as working with officials, teammates and coaches. Our Swim Team is open to students in grades 1st through 6th.
