Here is a former student who is now in his first year of college at Assumption Seminary.  He graduated last year from St. Michael's.  He is Andy Lopez's son who was the bus driver.  This was in the October 2016 People of God.

For years Niño Santos have been thriving with the help of the spectacular Santo Nino community. Today I am writing about a former Niño Santo who is truly thriving. Now I bet your pondering, “Who is this article is about?” Well I guess I will tell, but only if you listen.

Samantha Martinez – she is the winner of the Santa Maria’s de la Paz, Knights of Columbus, Catholic School Girl of the Year Award – it is a $500 College Scholarship and she moves onto the State Level and is eligible to win a $2500 College Scholarship.
