Welcome to the 2010-2011 School Year
Orientation Day, August 16th Packets were mailed out on Friday, July 2nd.
Please bring your children with you to Orientation, they will be meeting their teachers.
Orientation for new students is scheduled for Friday, August 13st in the Sheehan Gymnasium with the 1st session beginning at 1PM and the 2nd session beginning at 2PM. This is an opportunity yourself and your child with the Santo Niño Regional Catholic School community. Orientation to acquaint gives you an opportunity to meet the staff, and get answers to any questions you might have. This is also the time to make sure that all of your paperwork is in order. You will also be asked to sign up for and/or purchase Extended Care, breakfast/lunch programs, bus service, chair pack/master notebook (for older students), SNFA (Santo Nino Family Association), and fundraising committees.
Orientation for returning students is scheduled for Monday, August 16th (see schedule below). Due to the limited parking, we are asking that you please be punctual and limit your time to the times set. Please report to the Sheehan Gymnasium. During your assigned orientation time you will be asked to sign up and/or purchase: Extended care, Breakfast & Lunch programs, P.E clothing and Mass shirt, Bus service, Chair pack/Master notebook, activities, SNFA, and fundraising committees.
Orientation Schedule for returning students only:
- Ø If your child's last name begins with M-Q -8:00am to9:30am.
- Ø If your child's last name begins with E-L -10:00am to11:30am.
- Ø If your child's last name begins with R-Z -12:30pm to2:00pm.
- Ø If your child's last name begins with A-D - 2:00pm to3:30pm.
The first full day of school for grades PK and 1st-6th is Tuesday August 17th, 2010.
Kindergarten parents please call the office 424-1766 to arrange for your Kindergartener's testing date and time. First full day of school for Kindergarten students is August 20th, 2010.
Remember to bring your child's current health form, immunization record (if not previously submitted), family information page with any changes, and the Family Handbook signature page. Students participating in extra curricular activities will need to submit a physical form. These Physical Forms can be picked up at Orientation.
